Experiencing Space Through Sound
On the occasion of the Night of the Museums and International Museum Day, the Fundació Antoni Tąpies – currently closed due to renovation work on the building – invites you to imagine the space being renovated through the sounds generated by the construction work and its ongoing activity.
How can we experience a space without being in it? The cacophony of recurring sounds in a place under construction can be transformed into a spatial experience. The Fundació – currently closed due to renovation work – invites you to come to the building and listen to the sounds generated by the construction work in its interior spaces. They have been captured and transformed into a sound project by FER (multidisciplinary artist), Santiago Latorre (sound artist) and Juanjo Alba (musical producer). This is an invitation to revisit the different spaces of the Fundació Antoni Tąpies through the reproduction of real sounds.
