The Game of Francesc Simon’s Granddaughter
Activity for families
Dynamic visit to the building of the Fundació with the aim of discovering traces of the old spaces of the Editorial Montaner i Simon, the publishing house that once occupied the site. The visit will tell the story of Francesc Simon – one of the founders of the publishing house – and how he allowed his grandchildren to spend the afternoons in his book factory, and how his granddaughter Anna Maria used to play with the piles of magazines in the storeroom. The visit will be followed by an informal workshop themed around magazine illustrations of that period.
