Collection 2004

Fundació Antoni Tàpies will be presenting a new selection of works from the collection. On this occasion the show will include some unpublished drawings done between 1956 and 1985, with special emphasis on the varnishes of the eighties. The selection will also include the work 1/2 (2003), which is this year’s donation by Antoni and Teresa Tàpies to the Foundation.

This new presentation coincides with the publication of the book Fundació Antoni Tàpies, which aims to help make Tàpies’ work better known through a study of the collection housed in the Foundation and to publicise the activities connected with modern and contemporary art that have been held there since 1990.
